This movie revolves about an injured ex-marine Jake Sully being hired by the RDA to carry on his late twin's brother research on the avatar. The whole point of the program is to have humans communicate with the Na’vi, learn their culture first-hand, and then ask them very nicely if they would please get off their land so RDA can mine the valuable mineral “Unobtanium.”
In his avatar body, Jake learns about their culture and the way they live. He also falls in love with the princess of the na'vi tribe, who is also a great warrior. The hair of the Na’vi is either braided or pulled back into a pony-tail. All the Na’vi’s have this long hair-braid because it allows them to create a physical link to the animals of Pandora and to their Na’vi ancestors through the Tree of Souls.
Soon when the humans (known as the sky people by the na'vis) attack the na'vi, Jake decides to betray the humans and help the na'vis alongside some of his friends.
I shall not tell you the ending but this movie has a moral which is that we have to protect our surroundings and mother nature and not destroy them for fuel fossils.
